For all their claims of wanting gun sense, they sure are opposed to common sense ideas. I fail to comprehend how teaching kids about gun safety is considered a bad idea.

I would think that, since their attempts to ban guns entirely has failed, they'd accept that teaching people how to properly handle a gun is a good idea. Apparently, it's all or nothing with these folks. They want to completely disarm those that are legal gun owners so we have no way to protect ourselves against those that care nothing about the laws and obtain guns illegally.

It's really scary that these people are allowed to reproduce and raise children. Lord help our future with these people still breathing and exercising their 1st amendment rights.

Now the Declaration of Independence is racist?

Even the Declaration of Independence isn't safe.

First, I can't take this woman seriously when she says "only Caucasians was free". That sure doesn't sound like proper English to me but I'm a little picky about that so...moving on.

Second, if we stopped teaching everything that was offensive to someone the history of the world would disappear completely. Maybe they think that will make it all better? To pretend it never happened?

Our children are already growing up to be way less intelligent than previous generations because of the way they are treated, disciplined and the information that schools are allowed to teach. Heaven forbid we teach them about the past, even the bad parts, so they aren't doomed to repeat them.

No pledge allowed but you must recite the Quran?

Most schools have banned the pledge of allegiance because of the words "under god". Heaven forbid we risk offending someone by saying words that don't agree with their religion, right? Fine, we can get beyond that.

This is what I cannot get past. How in the hell is it acceptable to ban a parent from school grounds for objecting to his child being forced to learn and recite muslim doctrine? We won't allow god to be mentioned and don't think about bringing a bible to school but we sure want you to know about what the muslims are doing in their lives.

This school should be ashamed of forcing this on the students. I don't blame the dad at all and if they refuse to let him attend gradation, I'd sue the shit out of them. Heck, I might sue anyway for making my child complete schoolwork of this nature. Keep religion to yourself and don't try to claim it's history related. You can teach religion without making the students learn and recite their beliefs like this.
