Taste the rainbow...who didn't see that coming?

So, Skittles, which is a rainbow candy by default, thought making an all white version would be a good idea. Now, many fruit candy makers have made single colored versions of their candy in the past but I have to wonder and the thought process behind this marketing scheme. They made an all white version to celebrate...gay pride?

That's right...in an effort to support to LGTB (or whatever the acronym is now) folks, they created a limited edition package that are all white. The world is having a field day with this (clearly) racist display by a company whose product supports "the cause" on a daily basis by default.

I'm guessing the outcome would have been the same regardless of the color chosen, since we are a world full of perpetually offended pansies that want nothing more than to find something offensive in every aspect of life.

Red?  Nope, that would be offensive to native americans.
Yellow? Nope, the asians would be pissed.
Black? Um, are you fucking kidding me?
Pink? I'm sure all the feminists would accuse them of appropriating their pussy hat culture.
Green? Maybe, but the aliens in their UFO's would be down here protesting that one.

Sorry skittles...your intentions were good but that doesn't matter to the easily offended that make up so much of our population these days. I'd be happy to test out those all white versions for you, if you'd like to send me some free coupons or samples. I'm not a bigot when it comes to my candy...sweet and sugary is all I need...I'm color blind!

This GOT actress is complaining that the media posted pics of her with a sexist headline because it mentioned she went "braless". Ooh, they made a comment about your undergarments so they must be sexist.

How about it was a simple observation? It couldn't be said about a man because, typically, men don't wear bras. I'm sure if a man had worn sheer pants with no underwear that would have been pointed out too so how about you keep your feminist whining to yourself?

I guess since she's white she can't pull the race card. All she has left to make herself a victim in the sex card. Nice try! "Normal" people of the world are sick of hearing it.

Ben & Jerry's offends family...with ice cream!

In this weeks edition of offended by everything, a family is concerned about the name of a new ice cream from Ben & Jerry's called Hazed & Confused. Clearly they are the ones confused if they don't get the cultural reference to the movie but, let's move on.

They feel the name is offensive because they lost their son to hazing and they think the name is insensitive to families like themselves that have lost loved ones to hazing.

Um, what's offensive is that you are wasting time complaining about a word on an ice cream carton when you should be working toward getting changes made on college campuses to stop hazing all together.

Losing your son was a horrible experience that should have never happened but being threatened by a word on an ice cream carton is ridiculous. If you don't have any more backbone than that, I'd be embarrassed to be part of your family.

I'm offended that you're offended

So, the mom failed to follow the rules when erecting a headstone for her son. Another person brought it to the attention of the cemetery, yet they are being portrayed as the bad guys for "complaining".

Maybe people should learn to follow the rules and then they won't be inconvenienced by having to do things over the right way.

I don't care if you're offended

People are offended that folks are using the Confederate flag to promote ideas that were not part of the original "plan"...so the answer is to remove it from existence and pretend that part of history never existed.

People are angry that they can't always get their way so they stomp on the American flag...and we arrest those who oppose this action. Saying it's their right to express themselves in that manner.

Tell me how this isn't hypocritical.

Pretty sure there are laws protecting the American flag and giving specific details of how it is to be treated but you want to take away the right to display a flag that represents a time in history because someone is offended by it?

Will we change/ban the American flag next because some folks don't like?

I don't care if you're offended by something. If it's not physically harming you then why does it matter? We waste so much time on trivial bull because we don't want to offend people.
