In the aftermath of the Orlando massacre, politicians posted their support on social media. Trump was one of the first to predict it was an act of Islamic radical terrorists, even though others tried to downplay that possibility.
When his prediction was confirmed, people started to comment that he was right and congratulate him for not being afraid to say what we all knew was happening.
Trump acknowledged the compliments while pointing out what he thought should happen. No matter! Somehow he was attempting to use this tragedy to pat himself on the back.
Only an insane liberal would make that connection. He wasn't drawing attention to himself. He was acknowledging his supporters while showing support for the victims.
If you think otherwise, you are a brainwashed fool.
